Molnar is an Australian hoist manufacturer and automotive aftermarket equipment supplier. The Molnar SGA400 emission tester provides us with quick and easy emissions information highlighting the condition of each vehicles emission system.
The Molnar testing equipment is equipped with SST100 Opacimeter which is a diesel smoke analyser. The presence of smoke in the diesel engine exhaust indicates poor combustion resulting in some malfunction, maladjustment or non-proper fuel use. For this reason, the measurement of smoke emission is a widely agreed indication that there is a technical concern with an engine.
SGA400 emission tester

The Molnar SGA400 emission tester is a 4 gas analyser used to measure the exhaust gas emissions from petrol and LPG vehicles and motorcycles.
It is designed for accurate measurements on both modern cars with catalytic converters as well as on older vehicles with higher exhaust emissions.
SGA400 calculates and displays lambda value. The measurements are easy to read even from long distances.
The SGA400 emission tester meets the OIML class 00 certifications and is MID approved.

The SST100 Opacimeter is a diesel smoke analyser designed according to ISO 11614 and 72/306/EEC.
The SST100 smoke analyser is light, small, fast and operates on low voltage and with low power consumption.
The embedded software has a protocol with many features that makes it easy to adapt to any host system eg. PC or SGA400 emission tester.
